Republicans who voted against impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, basing their argument on claims that he had not broken the law, are wrong, Rep. Tim Burchett said on Newsmax Wednesday.
“He lied under oath, and that is exactly what they got [Richard] Nixon for,” the Tennessee Republican told “Newsline.” “If you remember, they didn’t convict him of crimes.”
Mayorkas, said Burchett, “is pathological.”
