In every community, there are moments that remind us of our shared humanity—times when generosity becomes a lifeline, and kindness transforms lives. The Cumulus Joy Drive is one of those moments. More than a seasonal campaign, it’s a movement rooted in compassion, connection, and the belief that giving is one of the most powerful forces we possess.
At its core, the Joy Drive is about helping our neighbors. Whether it’s providing warm coats for children, meals for families, or gifts that bring smiles to those facing hardship, every contribution makes a difference. These acts of giving ripple outward, strengthening the bonds between us and reminding each person that they are seen, valued, and supported.
What makes the Joy Drive truly special is its ability to unite people from all walks of life. Local businesses, schools, volunteers, and listeners come together with a shared purpose: to uplift others. It’s a testament to what we can achieve when we prioritize empathy over indifference and action over apathy.
Giving doesn’t require grand gestures. Sometimes, the smallest acts—donating a toy, sharing a meal, offering a kind word—carry the greatest impact. Through the Joy Drive, we witness how these simple offerings can restore hope and dignity to those who need it most.
This year, WFNC will be bringing the energy and spirit of the Joy Drive directly to our listeners. Donations can be made all day between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., and every gift helps light up someone’s life. As we continue this journey, let’s remember that the strength of a community lies not in its wealth or size, but in its willingness to care. The Cumulus Joy Drive is proof that when we give from the heart, we build something far greater than we ever imagined.
We thank you in advance for YOUR DONATION. No matter how small or large – every act of generosity is appreciated.
